The data covers the last financial year, so is a retrospective overview of performance.

Due to Covid-19, points were protected in most areas but adjustments for disease prevalence remained. Our data represents the funding practices would have received based on their performance if points had been applied in the usual way. Therefore, the figures don't reflect actual payments made. The data can be used to benchmark performance and will highlight areas to review and prioritise in 2022.

2020/2021 INFORMATION

The total value of a non-adjusted QOF point in 2020/21 was £194.83. For 2021/22, it is £201.16.

In 2019/20, 2 indicators (CS001 and CS004) for having a practice protocol and auditing cervical screening were removed. Both are now considered a core responsibility under the global sum.

Since 2017/18, the value of a QOF point has increased by 9.66%. The total value of a non-adjusted QOF point in 2019/20 is £187.74.

The Quality Improvement domain was newly introduced in 2019/20 including the two topic areas prescribing safety and end of life care. Topics are set to be updated in future.
